Other then the long months of summer, I’d say the winter holidays are also a killer when it comes to TV shows. All of them are on hiatus for about a month (unless you’re a reality show fan, then they’re always on). Grey’s starts on the 14th with a crossover event with Private Practice. Brothers and Sisters will be back on the 3rd. My new guilty pleasure, aka The Vampire Diaries, will be gracing my apple TV a day after it airs on the 21st. Heroes will be back with a two-hour premiere on the 11th. GG and 90210 are still MIA. Lost’s sixth and final season premieres on February 2nd.

Is it so hard to find good coffee locally? Everytime I walk into a Starbucks or a Coffee Bean I feel like I’m about to order a Big Mac. Either they’re turning super commercial, or I’m just eager for a burger. We need coffee options that aren’t a just-another. I’m not just talking about the coffee itself, but also the actual coffee shop. Somewhere to chill in a converse and a hoodie, not heels and a Kelly.

The law grants 30 days of annual leave to all employees from the start of their contract instead of just 15 days in each of the first five years that increases to 21 days a year after that in the old law. It has increased public holidays to 13 days from only eight, including three days for Eid Al-Fitr and four days for Eid Al-Adha, while also officially including the Liberation Day as a public holiday.
